Campus worship opportunities

Sundays

Catholic Mass

7:30 p.m., A. F. Siebert Chapel
Our Roman Catholic student staff work with local priests who come to campus for weekly mass during the weeks that classes are in session. Students are involved in reading scripture, leading music and assisting the priests.  Contact student leaders Tyler Pasquale - tpasquale@carthage.edu or Kassia Schraufnagel - kschraufnagel@carthage.edu for more information.

Tuesdays

TUESDAY Worship - Spring “One bread” worship series

11:40 - 12:10 pm  Ehrler Hospitality Center (northwest corner of Siebert Chapel)

Near the center of countless spiritual traditions and religious communities is food–sometimes simple, a sip or a crumb; sometimes an extravagant feast. “Take. Eat,” Jesus invited his followers. “This is my body. Eat it.” “Make sure that no one goes hungry.” After the resurrection, Jesus’ disciples didn’t recognize him–not until they broke bread together at a table.

Join CFS this semester for a worship series that will find us gathered at that holiest of places–around a table, sharing food. Literally. As we gather, we will grab something to eat, share a meal, pray, sing, reflect, and be in community together. In other words, we will worship as we eat. Bring yourself. CFS will provide the food and space for worship.
